Duties & Responsibilities:
As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our faculty. Some of the key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering high-quality, innovative, and student-centered courses in both foundational and specialized areas of the degree program.
2. Participating in the preparation of the program for accreditation and other quality initiatives, ensuring excellence in education.
3. Engaging with stakeholders in the professional community to support teaching, research, and professional development as well as supporting in building a network for internships and practical onsite training.
4. Collaborating with various committees at the program, faculty, and university level, actively contributing to the academic community.
5. Serving as a student advisor, providing guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey.
6. Contributing to the development of research capacity within the faculty, fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation.
Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses of Physical Therapy for traumatology, PT for Orthopedic Diseases and its Surgeries, and Physical Therapy for Sport injuries.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. Be a qualified physiotherapist eligible for registration to practice in country and a member of the professional organization.
2. Experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy practice will be highly valued, especially specialized in Physical Therapy for Orthopedic diseases and sport injuries.
3. Hold a PhD in physical therapy for Orthopedics, demonstrating expertise in area of specialization.
4. Showcase evidence of teaching excellence in the design, delivery, and evaluation of physiotherapy entry to practice education programs and courses.
5. Demonstrate a track record of research activity and outputs, including grants and peer-reviewed publications.
6. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
7. Versatility across various physiotherapy and health content-specific teaching areas will be highly considered.
