Assistant Professor / Associate Professor/ Professor in Business Informatics or Information Systems
Job profile:
We are looking for Candidates with academic and professional expertise in the following area: Business Informatics and Information Systems
Qualifications:
1- Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, Information Systems or a closely related field as well as a track record of internationally published research in enterprise systems, business analytics, data mining, e-government, and/or business process management.
2- Experience teaching courses such as: Programming, Data Structures, Digital Transformation Business Process Management, Enterprise System Application, Information & Communication Architecture, Artificial Intelligence in Business, Big Data and NoSQL, and others.
3- Candidates should have industry experience and technical competencies as well as the ability to develop and sustain externally funded projects.
4- Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision.
5- High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and to manage a study program.
6- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
7- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have a record of accomplishment in independent and applied research.
